今回のサイエンスカフェでは、癌免疫の分野における二重特異性ペプチドの話題に関して提供したいと思います。
癌免疫の分野において、CD137と腫瘍抗原の両方に対して親和性を有する二重特異性抗体は数多く開発されており、その戦略の有効性が期待されております。今回、合成可能なペプチドにおいてCD137と腫瘍抗原の両方に対して親和性を有する化合物を見出し、マウス腫瘍モデルにおいて断続的に薬剤を投与するだけで完全な腫瘍の縮小と抗腫瘍免疫をもたらした事を紹介する。
【Summary】
In the next Science Café, I will give the topic of bispecific peptides in the field of cancer immunology.
Many bispecific antibodies with affinity for both CD137 and tumor antigens have been developed in the field of cancer immunology, are expected. I will introduce the discovery of a synthetic peptide with affinity for both CD137 and tumor antigen, BT7480, and it show that in a mouse tumor model, only intermittent administration of the drug resulted in complete tumor shrinkage and anti-tumor immunity.
