"SARS-CoV-2 Cell Entry Depends on ACE2 and TMPRSS2 and Is Blocked by a Clinically Proven Protease Inhibitor"
Hoffmann et al., Cell, 2020, 181, 1–10
【Summary】
Considering the widespread transmission of new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) all over the world, some volunteer members of Science Cafe will introduce literatures on the new coronavirus using Zoom, a web conferencing tool, for the time being.
In the next Science Cafe, I will introduce cell entry mechanism of SARS-CoV-2. Since it has been shown that some clinically used protease inhibitors suppress the entry of SARS-CoV-2 into cells, I would like to introduce the topic as well.
